Major Branzel – Tips and Tricks for Beginning Beekeepers

The bees activities (what they do and don’t do) are connected deeply to what is going on in their environment. Each season the bees work with a different set of circumstances:  outside temperature, amount of daylight hours, forage/food available, pest load, and more.  This talk will focus on what the bees are doing each season in response to those circumstances and will also cover how the beekeeper can work with the bees to maximize bee health and success.
